Wedding Half Updos

I’ve gotten seven requests for wedding half updos in the last week alone, so this style was long over do!

I’ve actually done a few updo wedding hairstyles in the past, but this is my new favorite!

Also, I’ve been asked to do some updos for long hair and short hair updos, so I will be doing those just as soon as I get a chance!

Keep those requests coming!

For braiding the hair you’ll need:

As always, I started with clean, detangled, stretched hair.

Alright so this was super easy.

I began by parting a small section out in the front of Bunny’s hair for the cornrowed ‘heart’ section.

Unluckily, her hair is super dark so that actual part was a little bit harder to see than I thought it would.

I think lacing some hair ribbons through the braided headband would be a great idea!

And, because we’re lazy creative, we always change the style up instead of re-doing it…

Like all of Bunny’s natural hair styles, we will definitely mix it up a bit and get super creative!

I like her hair styles to last at least ten days to two weeks, maybe longer if we can help it.

Each night I will remind her to moisturize her end, focusing on the ends, nape area, and hair lines. Those are the areas where breakage i most likely to happen, so keeping those areas moisturize go a long way in retaining length.

Also, we will “pineapple” her two strand twists at night. That means we will secure her twists in a high, very loose bun at the top of her head so they don’t get smashed while she sleeps.

I think that’s about it!

I hope I answered all/any questions that you may have had!
