As requested, more updo hairstyles for long hair!

You can never do too many easy updo hairstyles!

This hairdo is both easy and quick. And although I did it on long hair, it can be modified to work with hair of shorter lengths as well.

Just keep in mind that the bun won’t be quite as full.

I promise to deliver more braided updos and curly updos in the next couple of months!

Updo Hairstyles for Long Hair Tutorial:

For braiding the hair you’ll need:

Products used:

As always, I started with clean, detangled, stretched hair.

Step By Step Instructions:

Step One:

The first thing that I did was part out a small section in the very back of her head.

This is where the cornrow design is going to go. I did five cornrows, but feel free to do more or less, depending on the texture and density of the hair.

Once I ran out of room to make the braid stick to her head, I tied the braid off with a rubber band and two strand twisted her hair all the way to the end.

Step Two:

This is what her hair looked like after a handful of twists had been finished.

If you don’t know how to twist hair, check out our two strand twists for beginners post right here!

If you don’t like twists, you can do box braids or rope twists instead!

Step Three:

Finally, I finished up the style by pulling all of her hair up into a big ol’ bun on the very top of her head.

After that, I added a giant hair flower and called it a day.

Supah easy & supah cute!
