Twist out tutorial!
I’ve done several twist hairstyle and two strand twist hair posts before, but this is the first time I’ve done a post on the complete care, maintenance, and removal of the hair style!
Hopefully you find this helpful.
We love this hair style!
For twisting the hair you’ll need:
- ENJOY Sulfate-Free Shampoo
- ENJOY Luxury Conditioner
- Jojoba Monoi Hair Milk
- Darcys Botanicals Madagascar Styling Cream
- Tropcial Traditions Coconut Oil
The first thing I did was wash B’s hair with ENJOY shampoo and then loaded her hair up ENJOY conditioner.
I absolutely love this conditioner because it makes an excellent detangler! I used my fingers and a Denman brush to get all the knots and tangles out.
Leaving the conditioner in, I went ahead and added the Jojoba Monoi Hair Milk in on top of that for moisture, and, finally, put the Darcy’s in for hold.
The results were fab!
Still have questions? Don’t like video tutorials? No problem! Here is the order that I add the products in and why.
Shampoo: To clean. Make sure you wash it all out!
Conditioner: To detangle. Leave it all in for extra moisture!
Water-Based Moisturizer: To moisturize. This helps the rinse out condish to keep those curlies super soft!
Shea Butter/Oil-Based product: To hold. This product will keep your twist outs from becoming a frizzy, fuzzy mess for several days!
TIP! I like to add a little coconut oil to my hands before removing the twists so I don’t cause frizz!
And, that’s about it!
Hopefully that answered all your questions! If not, you’re more than welcome to contact me right here or leave a comment below and I will do my very best to answer you in a timely fashion!
