Trendy Hairstyles - Do's For Just Us Teens!“Why don’t you have any trendy hairstyles created just for teen naturals?”Someone (another teenager I guess) emailed me that the other day and I realized that she was right. I don’t have a place with natural curly hair styles just for teens choosing to rock their curls! Sure, I have lots of styles that would work on any age, but I don’t have a set place for naturals over the age of thirteen and I wanna change that right now! These styles are ones that I do on my own natural hair (sometimes on straightened hair or blow-dried hair or African American short hairstyles for those just transitioning too!) and other natural teens just for you guys! I really hope you like these 'trendy hairstyles'!  The first of many trendy hairstyles! A great ‘do for medium length curly hair or straightened natural hair. Actually, it would work on relaxed or transitioning hair as well. VIDEO A LITTLE FARTHER DOWN THE PAGE! I am very excited to be doing my first style just for teens and I did this on straightened hair (many hairstyles done on natural and curly hair coming soon though!).  I love all the black hair designs that I’ve seen on other peoples websites and blogs and even the styles that I’ve done on my little sister’s hair, so I decided to really go all out on my next style. I generally just wear half cornrows, ponytails, buns, or box braids. And sure, those are all really nice, but I absolutely LOVE this new ‘do.  Looking for some naturally curly hair styles? Well, Meghan K. from Portland, Oregon was, too, so I settled down and did this hairdo on my hair for her the other day. I’m practicing flat twisting my hair as much as I can and I finally got the courage up to do a braided Mohawk! I really hope you like this Meghan!  Here are some pictures of African American hairstyles for Halloween! This natural hair style is one that I did on my older sister for Halloween. She wanted something with bright orange and a Halloween theme.  A couple of you told me that you’re looking for some updos for curly hair and black hair updos that are both protective hairstyles and were quick! I used one of my LillaRose Flexi8 hair clips and made the simplest hair bun look pretty! If you remember from this post, I did several different updo hairstyles and down hairstyles with a couple of the different hair clips. Curly short hair styles anyone? I did this cornrow hairstyle on my older sister. She wanted something that held up all her hair up for several days so she could easily go from school to the barn to wherever else she goes.  As requested, another one of my black updo hairstyles! This updo hairstyle is great for school or as a protective hairstyle. Or, if you’re like me and you can’t wear your hair down all the time because it drives you crazy! This one is a little bit different than my usual curly hair updos just because it’s really fast.  For those of you who’ve request more trendy short hairstyles, this one for you! I will try to do more African American short hairstyles because there’s a very high demand for them! And by the way, I LOVE side ponytail hairstyles. I think they’re beautiful but a little more feminine than regular braided ponytails.  I don’t think I’ve done any natural shoulder length hairstyles yet but I’ve been wanting to for a while. This is great for those who are looking for school hairstyles with braids or one of them ten minute hairstyles! The only drawback that I can really thick of with this hairstyle is that, if you have super fluffy hair like me, that you need to stretch you for a really smooth bun hairstyle.
