Pictures of African American Hairstyles

Here are some pictures of African American hairstyles for Halloween!

This natural hair style is one that I did on my older sister for Halloween.

She wanted something with bright orange and a Halloween theme.

I did a giant spider in the middle as the theme, then filled in all the other places with random and free style cornrows. I really hope you like this!

For braiding the hair you’ll need:

As always, I started with clean, detangled, stretched hair.

I don’t really have instructions for this style because I really made it up as I went along, but I will go into a little detail of what I did!

I started by sectioning her hair if half and clipping the back part out of the way for now. I then made a giant spider out of five cornrows (one was the body, the others were legs).

After that I filled in any extra spaces with cornrows going back into rubber bands. That’s it! Here’s more pictures in case you’re a visual learner:

I love the way the hair style turned out! Just a little something I threw together that just happened to be out of the ordinary =).

That’s my very favorite thing about styling hair! It’s a canvas and you’re free to express your artistry any way that you want!

There are so many different updos hairstyles, down hairstyles, ponytails, cornrows, and twist hairstyles out there for you to create!

Very fabulous!

Thank you for reading!

Stay beautiful!
