A great ‘do for medium length curly hair or straightened natural hair.
Actually, it would work on relaxed or transitioning hair as well.
VIDEO A LITTLE FARTHER DOWN THE PAGE!
I am very excited to be doing my first style just for teens and I did this on straightened hair (many hairstyles done on natural and curly hair coming soon though!).
I feel as though this is a great hairstyle for special occasions, although it would work for everyday wear as well.
It’s all up to you!
For this hairstyle you’ll need:
Okay to begin this hairstyle you will need to thoroughly comb your hair through of any tangles or knots.
You can use whatever way you like to accomplish this.
Now comb your hair to one side, I did my side part on the right side of my head and had the braided headband come over the left side of my face because I’m right handed and that was easiest for me.
For the sake of these instructions, I am going to assume that you put your part on the right side.
Starting at the top of your head, very loosely start braiding your hair, working your way down towards your left shoulder.
Just make sure that you can still see!
I absolutely love this hair style! I want do a slightly harder version involving cornrows in my little sister.
We shall see =)
