Here is our third Darcys Botanicals product review!
This product contains shea butter, which is great because I LOVE using shea butter for hair!
For those of you who asking yourself, what is shea butter or perhaps wondering what are the benefits of shea butter, keep reading because I will answer both of those questions in addition to the product review!
Shea Butter Curl Moisturizing Cream Product Review!!!
It’s finally here!!!!
Our NEW Shea Butter Curl Moisturizing Cream is for all of our lovely customers who wanted a creamier moisturizer than the Daily Leave In Conditioner:)
It can be used as a leave-in moisturizer and for styling as well. This one is scented with our Sweet Cream fragrance.
The Curl Moisturizing Cream contains moisturizing shea butter, pumpkin seed oil, and silk protein to help keep your coils & curls soft, healthy, moisturized and frizz-free.
What It Is:
A water-based, Shea butter moisturizer.
Seven days after using the product for a moisturizer and still going strong!
What It Smells Like:
Like shea butter.
How To Use It:
Apply a small amount throughout damp or dry hair as to moisturize dry curls.
Distilled Water, Unrefined Shea Butter, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Conditioning Emulsifier, Cetyl Esters, Silk Protein, Copaiba Balsam, Gotu Kola Extract, Licorice Root Extract, Botanical Extracts, Vitamin E, Paraben Free Preservative, Fragrance
A very faint beige.
About the same consistency as pudding.
$12.00 for eight ounces.
I definitely like this product. It smells wonderful (no surprise there, this is DB we’re talking about!) and has a thick, creamy consistency.
As far as moisturizing goes, I prefer using Darcys Botanicals Daily Leave In Conditioner a little bit more for moisturizing than this product.
- Definitely moisturizes
- A little goes a long way!
- Great price
- Softens hair
- Less moisturizing than DB leave in, however, you can use less of this product at a time for it to work well
Overall I will use it again and I definitely recommend it for light styling and lightly moisturizing!
Shea butter: A yellowish brownish fat extracted from the nut of a tree called a karite tree.
Benefits: Shea butter provides moisture to dry and/or damaged hair from the roots to the tips. Because it’s rich in vitamins A and E, shea butter soothes dryness. Shea is often used in cosmetics, such as lip gloss, moisturizer creams, and emulsions, and hair conditioners!
Don’t forget to “like” if you enjoyed!
Sharing is caring!
