Braid outs on long natural hair make some of the most beautiful curly long hairstyles ever!
This is one of the many easy hairstyles for long hair (and this style works for short hair too!) that I will be experimenting more with this summer.
By the way, be on the lookout for lots of great hairstyles for summer very shortly!
I plan on doing lots of twists outs, braids outs, and lots and lots of big hair!
We just finished up a two month long protective style challenge (no down do’s/loose hair whatsoever) so Bunny can’t wait to wear her hair down more.
For this tyle you’ll need:
Prior to getting her locks wet, I’d put her hair in six braids to make washing a little easier on her.
At this point her curls were clean and soft.
*Pats myself on the back*
I left the braids in overnight and through to the next day.
She had gymnastics practice so I left them in that day, and then removed them the following morning.
By now her hair was completely dry so it was super easy to gently unravel, fluff very lightly and let her rock her braid out!
This is only my second braid out ever and it looks pretty good if I do say so myself! She got lots of compliments!
Hmmm…do I prefer braid outs over twist outs? Not a chance! I’ve failed braid outs before but I am yet to mess up a twist out! Twists out just seem more dependable!
Don’t forget to “like” Curly Long Hairstyles here!
