Bunny has two different pool parties coming up this week so it was time for a cornrow braid hairstyle!
B’s been wearing A LOT of two strand twists lately, but they’re definitely not the ideal swimming hairstyle because they dread up when she gets out of the water and look mad frizzy.
With all that in mind, here is the style that I came up with. Enjoy!

For braiding the hair you’ll need:
The first thing that I did was part B’s hair in half, from the left ear all the way over to the right ear.
Once I’d done that, I clipped the top part up and out of the way and started on B’s box braids.
I’ve been twisting her hair for MONTHS, which takes about an hour, so braids was a loooooong, slow process.
It took about any hour and half just to box braid the back O.O!
No fun at all!
Once the box braiding was done, I started on the top part. Un-clipping that, I parted her hair in half, from her forehead back to the where her braids started.
I clipped the left side out of the way and started cornrowing the right section. I did the braids on a slight slant, making them fan out a little towards the back.
After I ran out of room to cornrow, I braided the cornrows to the end.
Lastly, repeat on the other side.
And that’s it!
Lots and lots of box braids and ten half cornrows going back!
We’ll change the loose cornrows into a braided ponytail or two, an updo hairstyle, pigtails, etc.
Of course we will also change her hair up with flowers or ribbons!
Thank you so much for reading!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
