Braided Mohawk Cornrows Designs

Photobucket

Valentine’s Day Cornrows designs!

Hey guys! And thank you to those who’ve been sending in your Valentines cornrow styles! I love ‘em all!

So, we finally took down Bunny’s Willow Smith inspired hairstyle, and I did braided Mohawk hairstyle.

Enjoy!

For braiding the hair you’ll need:

As always, I started with clean, detangled, stretched hair.

I began with clean, stretched hair as pictured left.

After that I parted her hair in half, clipping one section out of the way for now.

Once I’d done that, it was super easy to part half a heart hair design.

And then I did one on the other side. I used a rat tail comb to get the parts as neat as I could.

Once I had the parting down, I began cornrowing her hair in tiny cornrows going out away from the top center of the heart.

Here is what her hair looked like when I’d finished all of the cornrows for the heart design.

Also, I added one cornrow on either side around the heart design, then I started the actual Mohawk hairstyle.

Now, I didn't take any pictures of the other cornrows, because I free-styled.

You can do any pattern that you want really.

I actually had a circle cornrow/swirly pattern in mind, but decided to do something simpler so I wouldn't run out of time.

More pictures!

Well, that’s about it!

Thank you so much for reading and let me know what you think of this style in the comment box below!

Don't forget to "like" if you enjoyed!
