I hadn’t done a braided Mohawk on Bunny in quite some time, so I wasn’t surprised at all that she asked for one the other night.
Does anyone ever have those days/weeks/months when they just can’t do a pretty hair style anymore?
I think I’m having one of those months because I’ve pretty much detested all my latest cornrows braids and cornrow styles.
Bunny loves this Mohawk hairstyle, so it’ll stay in as long as possible but I really don’t like it.
Anyway, take a look and lemme know what you think of it! Please & thank you!
Yep, there’s a lot of exposed hair in this style and maybe that’s why I don’t like it so much. I guess I’m worried about the whole detangling process that WILL be coming up much too soon.
The only reason I didn’t two strand twist the free hair is because she wanted it loose.
:/ Oh wells.
She loves it and it looks so FULL!
For braiding the hair you’ll need:
I began this natural hair style by parting her hair in half. I clipped the right section out of the way and started cornrowing on the left side. Lastly, I repeated on the other side.
The most important thing to remember is that the cornrows have to do inward, toward the part and that’s about it! Nothing complicated or earth shattering.
If you remember from the last braided Mohawk that I did (Click Here to see that one), I did a different design on both sides. However, I did the very same pattern on both sides but that’s totally optional.
So, what do you think of this hair style?
Don’t forget to “love” the style here!
