This black hair twists plus cornrow style is good for someone not ready to commit to a full out braided Mohawk, but still loves the look of the side cornrows like I do.
The thing I love about side cornrows and twists is that there are a lot of ways to mix up the hair style.
You can do rope twists or two strand twists, which leads to an awesome twist out!
Anyway, enjoy this hair style!
For this style you’ll need:
Start by parting the hair straight down the middle. Now decide if you want the loose twists to be on the left side or the right.
I did the cornrows are on her right, but whatever side works is fine. You can also make the part to one side like I did in this cornrow hairstyle.
Begin cornrowing the hair up towards the center part. When you run out of room to cornrow, you can either braid it to the end or twist the hair.
I did simple two strand twists.
Keep in mind that if you decide to do three strand twists or sister twists, the hair will appear shorter than regular twists.
This hairstyle is fairly simple. Continue doing the cornrows until you’ve run out of room, then braid or twist to the end.
Once one side is done, do the opposite side in two strand twists, sister twists, or three strand twists. Or do box braids if you prefer.
TIP! Remember to moisturize hair nightly and wrap with a satin scarf for best results.
Don’t forget to “like” Black Hair Twists if you enjoyed!
