Sénica product review!
Each product is filled with aloe vera gel, coconut oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, and many other wonderful ingredients for natural, biracial, and curly hair!
Formerly Nica Naturals, Sénica was founded in 2007 by Benardett K. Jno-Finnafter a long, costly and largely disappointing journey of searching for effective products to treat eczema, dermatitis and other common skin ailments from which she suffered at the time.
How To Use It:
Wet hair thoroughly with warm water. Divide hair into sections and gently rub the bar against your scalp. This will create a rich cleansing lather. Massage scalp with pads of your fingers and work the lather down the hair strands. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed.
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide (Saponifying Agent), Rosemary Oleoresin Extract, Jojoba Oil, Essential Oils of Geranium Bourbon, Bay Oil, Palma Rosa, Carrot Seed & Lemon.
$12.00 for a 4 ounce bar of soap (a little smaller than a can of tuna).
I love this shampoo!
I had a very positive experience with the Alaffia Shampoo Bar that I started using a few months back, so I was very excited to try out a new shampoo bar!
It gently cleaned B’s hair without stripping it and, believe it or not, made it feel moisturized and soft! Now that B is starting to care for her own hair, I asked her opinion on this product and here is what she said:
I LOVE this stuff! It made my curlies feel soft and clean at the same time! Thank you!

Definitely my new favorite hair product for detangling curly hair!
You can use this conditioner as either a rinse out or a leave in. I opted to use it as a leave in because of the ingredients. Why the heck would I rinse out all the natural goodness??
It works very well on both wet and dry hair.
When applied to wet hair, it adds a wonderful amount of “slip” which makes detangling very easy, it adds softness, and adds a bit of shine!
When applied to dry hair, it adds a decent amount of “slip” so you can easily remove shed hair, it adds moisture, and it adds softness!
A hairstyle using these products from start to finish
I loved the shampoo bar, but I LOVED the leave in conditioner!
Absolutely excellent products and amazing people to work with!
